I pulled an almost-all-nighter and finished a server-sat LCD
thruster animation. The gif animation (ss4.gif) and the source
(ss4.c) were added to http://www.server-sky.com/NavigationV01
I have to recheck the numbers. I set the angular acceleration
to 8 degrees per second squared because the calculations result
in lots of whole numbers. The fonts need to be anti-aliased
somehow, and the code itself needs to be modularized. It uses
fixed formulas rather than numerical approximation, and also
does not take into account reduced illumination of tilted
thrusters.
If someone is feeling ambitious, they could write a maneuvering
simulator for server-sats, with three axis rotation and XYZ
translation.
